This is the first video of the new David Gray album ‘Mutineers’.
The film was shot in London, Cornwall and Romania and features David Gray, Keith Prior ‘Drummerman’ and Maria Tsiatsiani and Leandro Palou ‘European Tango Champions’
The stunning film uses graphic film title sequences as a blueprint to produce a startling set of images that reflect the main themes of the track.
Images of nature, the elements, landscape, and weather reflect a mood that is both brooding and spiritually uplifting.
Using negative space and multi-layered double exposures the film produces a set of strangely beautiful shots of lightness falling into darkness that are then stripped apart and welded back together again to show glimpses of a different world that the one we think we all know.
